It doesn't "just work"!

It must just be me. I was hoping that when I got thee iPhone all of my phone issues would be a thing of the past. Well my phone has been stuck with a pin wheel since 11am.

Any advice? Until I can make it to Verizon.

Hold down the home button and the power button until it goes off and comes back on. Let go as soon as you see the apple logo. It'll restart and your problem should be fixed.

This happened to my 4S last night as well. Strange. Never happened in my history of iPhones (3 years). No problems since though.

I suggest remembering that too.. whenever you have some kind of problem with the iPhone its a good idea to do a reset like that to try out first a lot of times it fixes most problems

I had something similar happen with my iPad Classic. It wouldn't turn on. I thought I had picked up a bug or something. I called Verizon and they had me use me do the same thing and it reset whatever the problem was and it came on. It probably does the same thing as a battery pull does on an Android...
