I noticed on the spec page of the iPhone 4S that the stand-by time has decreased 100 hours, from 300 to 200. What's up with that? A type-o? 100 hours is A LOT of time.

That has me worried. I frequently sit my iphone down on the shelf and leave it there for 200 hours at a time. I was covered before. What will i do now?

Iphone 4S - ?Standby time: Up to 200 hours
Iphone 4 - ?Standby time: Up to 300 hours

200 hours is 8.5 days. You go over a week without plugging your phone up to a charger.

The talk time on 2g is equal and 1 hour more on the 4S

To most people standby time is the last thing there worried about. 8.5 days if i sat my phone on shelf and never used it until than will satisfy me.

Yeah, the stand-by time is the least important than any other about of battery time. Though it is strange, the 100 hour decrease.
