I ordered this morning at 4:30 Pacific from ATT. I got the confirmation email right away, but the order hasn't shown up in their system yet. They say it takes 24 hrs to show up. I am assuming that everything will go as planned, and I won't get antsy about it arriving 'till next Thursday. If I hope too much for early delivery it will drive me nuts. It would tick me off, though, if it were delayed until after the 14th!

Just like happened last year, Apple will have UPS/Fedex hold any deliveries until the 14th.

or delivery a day early, like it did for me and many others for the iP4.

almost, mostly likely not able to have fedex or ups hold for pickup/will call. fedex/ups has probably been instructed that it must be delivered.

That number is the product ID. Order number was way up above all the other info. Thanks though.

I ordered a 16gb (not enough but no $ : ( ) Black iPhone 4S. Giving my 4 to the wife. Good reason to upgrade especially since I'll be eligible for early upgrade when the 5 comes out next year (right?) I am hoping that the Cloud can help reduce the amount of storage I'll need.

Ordered mine from Verizon at 11:55 pm(not am I got on 5 min before it was supposed to be available) and my order processed right away got my confirmation email from Verizon stating I would receive the phone on the 14th. I checked my order status an hour ago and it says delivery date 10/21/11!!! I spent the last hour on the phone with Verizon trying to get it figured out to no avail. They were even amazed how early I got my order in but said there is nothing they could do. I'm really effen pissed right now idk what happened but looks like I'm not getting my phone for two weeks now!! Anyone else have ts goin on?

Me too. I placed my Verizon order at 3:00 AM. Received the confirmation email at 3:39 stating I would receive by 10/14. Checked status and it says 10/21. Anyone have a different date? I am wondering if the 10/21 date is an error.

Are you all checking your Verizon Status on the link they sent in the email? All mine says is "We have received your order and it is in process. Expected ship date: 10/14/2011."
