How do I clear the storage on my iPhone 4 if I can't even take a picture?

how do i clear the storage on I phone 4 I cant even take a picture

I have my photos backed up on computer and have deleted a lot of pics from the phone
It still says there is no room to take a photo

You also need to go to the Recently Deleted folder and tap Select and then Delete All in the bottom left of your screen. When you delete a photo in camera roll they are put in this folder for a point of about 30 days before they are permanently deleted from your device so in order to fully delete them right away you need to delete them twice
