Why cant i jailbreak my iPhone 4 running iOS 7.1.2?

Okay so i downloaded pangu from their official website and plugged my phone into the usb slot. I then opened pangu and it noticed my phone (iphone 3,1 etc) so then i clicked jailbreak and it told me to go into general and change the date, i changed it to 2 June which is what every youtuber says you should do but the screen never changed on pangu it just keeps telling me to change the date to 2 June which i already have done! Please help me

It's been a while since I used Pangu but I believe I had to hit the home button and go back to the main home screen.
