How do I connect my phone to the wifi of a new modem that I installed?

I have a new modem I cannot connect to wifi.

Upon installing a new motem, I can no longer get wifi on my cell phone.

We need more information. Do you mean modem? Most cable/DSL modems do not include wifi access points, and require a separate wifi access point to allow wifi connections with any device.

Please explain what you did and what your desired end was.

Did you enter the wifi passcode into your phone in settings? My modem shows the passcode on the bottom of the modem. If you have done that, try rebooting the modem by unplugging it for 1 minute, then plug it back in. If you still have issues, try Reset Network Settings. Go to Settings>General> Reset>Reset Network Settings. Then enter your WiFi passcode back in.
