When I switch to the iPhone 5, will I have to start all over with my AutoCorrect?? We already don't have a very good relationship and I hate the thought of loosing what littler ground we've made!!

i believe if you transfer a recent backup from your current device to the new device it carries over

Correct. As long as the OP restores from a previous backup of his/her old iPhone, all of their auto correct info will transfer over to the new iPhone.
