Persona contacts lost after deleting exchange

Hi

I just left a company and used my personal phone for work emails too. I have just deleted the exchange account and realised I have lost all contacts that I manually added to my iPhone for the last two years. I still have a HTC and the contacts should be synced there I believe, haven't deleted the exchange from that phone yet. .

I still have the exchange account on my iPad and most contacts are still on my iPad.

Any chance I can save the contacts from my iPad and sync those contacts with my iphone4?

Very, very annoyed as I didn't notice a warning before deleting the exchange and assumes that all my contacts that I manually added will be on my phone!

You can backup your contacts to iTunes or you can follow the instructions HERE. The instructions are for the iPhone, but should work for the iPad also. I hope this helps.
