Help!

So I was browsing thru text messages this morning and for no apparent reason my phone shut off and now is stuck on the apple logo screen for the past hour. Can anyone help!!!

I honestly don't know much about this stuff but if I were in your shoes I would try plugging it into computer and see if that jump starts it-
Also how was your battery? was it real low and it shut off?

I would try holding down the home button and the sleep button down together until the phone shows the slide to power off bar. That should restart your phone.
