Updated iTunes BOOOOOOOO

I updated the iTunes to prepare for the IOS 5 right.

Now I want to backup my phone before the release comes out right?

No iTunes freezes every time I connect my iPhone 4 Boooo.

Tried a restart and other basics, still Pinwheeled, every time i connect it.

Any others having this?

thought Suggestions.

If I cant get the phone connected, then no IOS 5, or will it be over the air waves? (sorry had to through in the waves parts)

It's called OTA update. And, no it could not go through over the air because, iOS 4 doesn't support OTA, though in iOS 5 when iOS 5.1 or something comes out than you can use an OTA update because iOS 5 supports that. As for you're freezing problem why don't you restart you're computer or try it on a different computer.

UPDATE!

Restart again, leave everything off for a while let it boot up happy.

connected and after unusual amount of time it is connected.

I updated to iTunes5 and my iPhone4 took about 10 minutes to recognize in the program and on the computer. It was ridiculous, I thought that something was wrong. But I just left it there and it worked, eventually.
