How do I sync iPhone calendar to ical Macbook?

I selected the sync calendar option in iTunes when the iPhone was hooked up but all it did was add the iCal stuff to the iPhone and not the other way around. I'm trying to get the stuff from the iPhone calendar to iCal

Try this


1. Go to iTunes and select your phone.
2. Uncheck sync calendar.
3. Sync Phone
4. Select sync calendar then select "selected calendars"
5. Select all of the calendars you need.
6. Go to bottom in Advanced section select replace calendar.
7. Sync Phone

Everything synced fine from phone to machine and from machine back to phone after this. Apparently iCal generates some bogus calendar if you select "all calendars".
