Anyone else's ATT upgrade date randomly change?

HI all ,

Quick question for you.

Anyone else's upgrade date randomly change recently? Mine up until about a month or 2 ago was always early upgrade june 25th (i believe 1 year after I bought the iphone 4). I am 100% sure this was the case.

However now when I checked it was moved up to November 25th. I have changed nothing on my account other than a few months ago I was put on the free mobile to mobile addition to our current plans.

TO check your upgrade just call the # *NEW# or *639# and you will receive the date / info.

Just to clarify, to get the information you have to actually CALL those numbers, not text them...it'll let you know it went through after you hit the "call" button.

Mine stayed the same as it was earlier this year...my wife's however did just like yours, it went from February 2012 to November 2011 (even though we bought both of our iPhone 4's at the same exact time last year, on launch day).

Mine is the primary line which has changed. My wifes is still 2/2012 with no change. The primary line usually is the only line that can do a full upgrade after a year if I remember correctly so my wifes would be correct. Not sure why mine has changed though.

I'm not 100% certain about this, but it seems the early upgrade fee went up too...if i remember correctly, when the iPhone 4 came out, the early upgrade cost was $399...this time, if the iPhone 5 follows the same release price of $199 (w/ 2 year contract), you have to tack on an additional $250, which brings the price up to $449, or $50 extra over the previous early upgrade cost.

Again, I'm not completely sure I'm accurate with that, but the previous $399 cost is what i remember.

yea you are correct. the 449 prices show up for me as well. It was 399 before.

Mine stayed the same .. Upgrade with $18 fee.

Mine's the same - 9/19/11, which is about 6 months early for when I got my 3Gs (I later got a 4 for free through my boss who swapped phones with me last year)...but the way I read it, the early upgrade fee is if I were to upgrade NOW. That's $250 plus the agreement cost of the phone, or $450 total. It says that right now, I am eligible for an early equipment upgrade at the cost at $250, and that I will be eligible for full discount pricing on 9/19, which I read as I won't have to pay the $250 if I upgrade after September 19.

I'm still good for all 4 lines... just upgraded one... two more are now eligible and the 4th line is eligible for upgrade in November ... these dates have not changed in the last 9 months, and possibly longer.

IIRC, last year they (AT&T) decided that anyone whose contract expired within that year (so Nov 2011 would count) was eligible for an upgrade when the 4 came out.

Yes... if your renewal/upgrade date was between 6/24 and 12/31 last year, AT&T let you upgrade early at the $199/$299 price point... thought they updated update dates, tho to match.

Purchased iPhone 4 on launch day. Eligible 11/25 and the upgrade price is now an extra $250 instead of $200 as in the past + an $18 activation fee :-/

Not that I have any plans to upgrade as of today. I'm not fan enough to say I'm going to upgrade based on all rumors. I'll at least wait for a product announcement before making a decision.

Apple to At&t are probably pushing upgrades up like they did for the iPhone 4 for some customers
