Asurion insurance?

Is it possible to get Asurion or other non-Apple insurance on the Verizon iPhone?

Asurion needs to be added within 30 days or purchase.

3rd party options include Worth Ave. Group and Squaretrade... or on a homeowners or renters insurance policy may be able to add a rider to cover your devices.

is squaretrade pretty reputable? I'm on day 29 of ownership so I need to decide if I want to do this now as on day 31 it'll go up to $150 down instead of $99.
