So I just went to the Carribean with my iPhone (first time out of the country)

I travel alot, so it is important to me to always have a phone with a data connection.

Here are a couple things I noticed on my iPhone compared to a blackberry.

1. When I turned the iPhone on after the flight, it literally took about 5 minutes for it to pull a signal (same when I returned to the US) Any idea why this happens? Did not happen on my BB

2. My BB maintained an EDGE connection the entire time. The iPhone4 would bounce between EDGE and a little O symbol which I am guessing is GPRS since it was so slow. Any idea why the BB would hold the EDGE connection pretty much all the time and the iPhone4 would not?

Any other weird travel experiences with the iPhone 4 international let me know!

Thanks
