Sporadic Email

I have a IP4 w/ the newest software.

I have a gmail exchange acct and a yahoo pop account.

They are both set to push but sometimes if I dont open the mail app they dont push.

I opened my mail app at 4 today and it pushed a email from 10 am.

this seems to be both accounts but definatley the exchange account.

I have re added the accounts.

It only happens so often but it can be a problem if I dont get emails... obviously

any ideas ??/

is it the new version maybe , never had the issuse 3 versions ago ( 4.2 I think )

happens to my Yahoo account too but then sometimes it works great for me...can't figure out why it's so hot and cold but definitely annoying that it isn't consistent.

I've never had an issue with gmail on exchange, but Yahoo is notorious for push issues. Check out their help page for some ideas (e.g. push doesn't work over WiFi, only carrier networks)
