Typing certain words

When typing certain words, the iPhone will complete it for you. But, say I want to keep the word I typed, yet NOT x the word offered by the iPhone, can this be done?

Example when I type itw, the iPhone thinks I want "it's". Obviously since I do type the word "it's" from time to time, I don't want to x it, thus for iPhone to not offer it to me anymore.

Make sense?

Makes sense to me. This is some thing I miss from android, the ease of adding to the dictionary.

I see your point but in my experience if you "x" the suggested word it will still suggest that word to you unless you type "itw". I hope that makes some sense.
