New iPhone user

I am a new iPhone 4 user (former BlackBerry Tour and Bold). I love everything about my new phone, except how it handles GroupWise e-mail. Is there a way I can disable the sync between the phone and server? I would like be be able to delete e-mails on my phone, but leave them on the server.

I don't know of a way to do that, that closest thing I can think of is to just archive the emails. That will delete them out of your inbox and then just keep them in your all mail folder (at least that's how I see it)
