That link goes to a different app. One called lite for isafe.
The Shortcuts app is a great way to download videos from YouTube and social media.

Thanks for your sharing. As for me, I'd like to use another way such as using Joyoshare Screen Recorder to download YouTube videos, which is more easy and versatile. Still happy with it till now.

I still find a horrible loss of video resolution with screen recording. It is kin to taking a photo copy of a fine Monet. Not that YouTube is comparable to Monet in any way, but you get the idea.

Yeah, just a hint. And yes screen recording will lose some resolution, but some are actually doing well in keep its original quality.

Unfortunately YouTube doesn’t keep the original quality and in many cases up or down converts to fit the iOS device screen. Not necessarily the original resolution. In fact I don’t think YouTube even delivers 4K video in any other codec than their own VP9 compression and WebM.
