Jailbreak iOS 4.3.3. Help me please!!!!

I'm trying to jailbreak my iPhone 3GS which is running on iOS 4.3.3. I followed the step by step guide on a few different sites (all which involve downloading redsn0w) but it is not working. Everytime I get to the point where my iPhone screen shows 'downloading jailbreak data', redsn0w crashes on my PC and then my iPhone freezes for about 10-15 mins before going back to it original state.

Please can someone help me. I'm not as technical as most people seem to be on here but I'm by no means a beginner, however I do need the technical jargon kept simple'ish.

I cant get it to work on my 3GS either, im waiting on the untethered jailbreak which should be out by the weekend.

Three things to try and make redsn0w work. This is for PC and pretty much win7 x64 advice.

Right click on redsn0w executible and run it via "run as administrator"
Set compatibility mode to XP SP3
Set CPU affinity to 0
