    Default no 3G signal on new iphone

    So I just got the white iphone for my wife today about 3 hours ago. She upgraded from the 3g. Her phone is still not showing the 3G signal and so she cant go on the internet (no wifi available). She can make calls but the quality is bad. Should it take this long.
