cant jailbreak 4.2.6 anymore

it looks like apple is not signing the 4.2.6 firmware anymore. Was working last week, now it doesnt.

Is there a way to do it with 4.2.7 that is untethered. I loved greenpoisOn's way for 4.2.6, I hope they come up with a 4.2.7 fix real soon.

I just jailbroke a 4.2.6 last night using greenpoison

As for 4.2.7 there is no untethered version available yet

were you on 4.2.6 while you jailbroke it or did you downgrade from 4.2.7 using the 4.2.6 firmware. If so did you have your shsh blobs saved.

I didn't save any blobs. First time jailbreak phone originally came with 4.2.6.

If you upgraded you cant go back to 4.2.6. However I have read you can jailbreak 4.2.7 using redsnow and a 4.2.6 ispw

Thats correct, but unfortunately its a tethered JB and everyone knows that those can leave you dead in the water. I didnt think I would ever care if a JB was tethered or untethered until I went on a business trip with my iPad with a tethered JB. Later, I was watching a movie and didnt keep an eye on my battery. The iPad died and I was left the rest of my trip without being able to turn my iPad back on. Same thing happens if you have to restart too. Just wait for an untethered solution to 4.2.7. Hopefully it wont be long.
