Speaker problems?

If I'm looking at the iPhone, the speaker on the left doesn't play music. I noticed it while listening to pandora radio, then I tested it when I hit iPod. Any reason why?

That's because there is only one speaker on your IPhone. The other hike is actually a mic.

Really? Cause they look exactly the same and I could have sworn at one point they both played music.
