i bought a iphone off ebay, the guy claimed it was/is a 3g but while the phone looks authentic, it only says iphone on the back and the normal gibberish below, also has the apple logo, but it doesnt say its an 8gb or 16gb...i cant check the serial number because its has a white screen (thats how it was bought)

anyone ever seen one like this..id rather not buy a new screen to find out its not an iphone...oh yeah, its not connecting to itunes either.

can someone enlighten me?

Unfortunately, you need at least 10 posts for us to see what you are talking about. However I can see that all iPhones except for the current revision have the capacity on the back....

why would you buy it ? in hopes of a quick fix? take out the sim place and check under the sim it should have a serial number, the sim card thingy, then check on apple warranty checker and it will tell you what phone it is and if there is any warranty left on it or anything good luck

As stated by ghostface all previous iphones have the capacity on them. Hope you find out bro.
