iPhone Screen Question

Is there a way to have the screen NOT turn off while using the ipod feature playing music? I'm sure there is IF i were jailbroken, but i'm not. Is there a way to do this stock, or do i have to jailbreak?

if you mean just so the screen stays on...you can go into settings>general>autolock and select never

I don't believe there is a built in setting to give the iPod an exception to the screen settings.

That would effect the entire phone, Not just the iPod like he asked.

Ok thank you, it seems this is not possible without jailbreaking then. I did see the NEVER option for Autolock but like generik777 pointed out that'll affect the entire phone, and i was hoping there was a way to just do it for the ipod function.
