I did a search and came up w nothing. I'm almost ready to buy my 2 ip4s at vzw and want to have a accurate estimate of monthly charges. I'm gonna get the family 1400 min and the insurance for both.
It adds up to $180 before taxes and the other charges they add..

I came from sprint which was $85 a month after everything! Oh well lol

I have 3 lines. 2 with iPhone 4's. Have the 1400 min/month + the $11 insurance + the $10 texting plan for both phones + taxes. We get a 20% discount on the main line. So we pay roughly $187.00. Is that expensive?

correct me if your wrong, but is this your first bill with verizon, as in this is a new contract? your bill is almost always higher for the first bill. usually it includes the activation, along with a partial charge for features or something?

The 1400 min plan comes w unlimited text to anyone...you pay $10 extra per phone?
This is why I posted this...all kinds of different bills from different folks..
$119 for plan + $60 for 2 data packs + $22 of ins for both phones + taxes, etc..= way more than $187. More like $200 and change..

Nope. This is my monthly bill actually. It went up 30ish dollars since we now have data on the 2nd iPhone. It used to be 150ish.

My 1400 min plan is only 80 dollars. I have an older plan, and i don't get unlimited text to anyone, only vzw folks. So we pay the extra 20 for text.

3 lines, 700 minutes, 2 iPhones + 1 feature phone; the cheapest text plan on the feature phone, with a 20% employee discount on everything but the 2 extra line charges. And we have about $2 in text message costs on the two lines w/o a text plan. And this all can be yours for $140 a month!

Nslasha, I don't get how you're paying what I'm paying when youve got an extra data plan and a netbook costing you $90 extra. By my count w/o a discount you've got to be well over $200/month because the data plans and netbook alone are $150.

We have two smartphones with unlimited data plan and a feature phone (dumb phone). We share 1400 minutes and all three with unlimited text. 19% discount. $187.

I don't mean to intrude, but I thought I'd post my AT&T plan info JUST AS A POINT OF REFERENCE. I am not trying to start a "war", but rather, attempting to show that for the same services, we are paying close to the same amounts.

We have 4 smart phones (3 iPhones w unlimited data; one BlackBerry with the 250MB data plan), 1400 minutes, unlimited texting with an employer discount (23%) and NO handset insurance coverage. With tax, we pay $229/month.

My bill actually went down $10 going from the BStorm 2 to the iPhone. Most of it is from ditching the mthly ins. and just buying Squaretrade, not sure what the other few bucks are from as my plan is exactly the same.

My bill is 121 including taxes.

1400 min with unlimited texting, friends and family, two lines with iPhones, both lines with unlimited data. That price includes taxes.

I have a 17% discount on the plan, plus an additional 20% off data, and I'm on a promotional plan that discounts an additional 20 a month per line that has unlimited data. So my data costs me primary line about 6 bucks and the secondary line 9.99. My wife has the iPhone for 20 a month on our plan including data. The feature code is Talk Text & Data $20.

3 lines, one iPhone, one Blackberry, one feature phone (dumbphone) [the latter two have not been updated yet], $30/month data on iPhone and BB, $10 a month texting plan on the iPhone, $11 insurance on the iPhone, neither on the latter two. 20% employer discount. This month had some shuffling due to the change from BB to iPhone on main line so there was some additional charges but around $168 for this bill. Usually between the $150-$160 range if I remember correctly.

Same here. Mine actually went down after I dumped the Asurion insurance and went with square trade.

No discounts, Family Shared Plan 700 mins, 2 iPhones, Unlimited, 2 times the insurance $10.99, 1 iPhone using $20 Hotspot, with taxes approx. $200, the reason why I say approx. is because this last bill was higher than normal because of adding 2 new iPhones, they prorate features..

My first bill is showing up as $157 with 22% discount on voice and features. I have one iPhone w/ 450 mins and unlimited text and data, no insurance. My discounts must not be applied for some reason even though they are listed on my account and I can view my bill yet though.

Anyone else this high for a single line on one phone with no overages?
