This is after my first full power cycle. Phone has been in use for 2 days.

Wifi off, Bluetooth off, Gmail exchange activated with push, no location services active, FB alerts active.

Browsing, texting, phone calls, games...hopefully it gets better with time...

I meant to post this the other night. I played on my phone the entire day and was suprised to see that it lasted the whole day. That's awesome!!!

I just hate the fact that I need to be worried about my battery. I don't think it holds up per the Apple statements for usage. I don't know.

What does their statement say about how long the battery should last?

@coltsbr - how in the heck did you get over 10hrs of usage?!?! Thats awesome, you seriously have a great battery. What do you have your screen brightness set to?

I thought that was pretty awesome myself.
Here is a pic of my brightness setting. I got a lot better battery life once I turned off the Auto-brightness.

Thanks for the info, I guess I'm getting pretty good battery life then.

I thought that was pretty awesome myself.
Here is a pic of my brightness setting. I got a lot better battery life once I turned off the Auto-brightness.

Wow, you do keep the brightness down, I keep mine around 60% give or take. Thanks for the tip about Auto Brightness, I will try that going forward.

Basically been listening to the radio through speakers and some texts for four hours today, started off day at 75%. Seems a bit quick on the discharge, thoughts?

Serious? Ended up about 6:30 hours before it died. This is pumping the sound through un-powered hooked in speakers.

Seems like that is fast, I can only imagine if I was toooling around with it, games, surfing. How long without lets just says calls or sound will it last in that case?

This was mine yesterday... With my screen at 50% and over three and a half hours playing Infinity Blade. Seems to be pretty good to me

After its 2nd full power cycle I got 8 hrs of usage with 1 day and 10 hrs of standyby! Battery remaining was at 2%. I had an assortment of calls, texts, email, browsing, games over the 2 days.

Screen - 50% (auto brightness OFF)
Gmail exchange

I am very impressed. This phone is even better than my original ip4...

Heavy use today and it still made it through the day with some leftover.

I'm really impressed. My HTC Incredible never would have made it that long
