Microcell vs. Wifi

I was wondering what your data speed tops out at using a microcell versus using wifi.

It would be cool if someone did a screenshot using speedtest.net or some other speed testing app to compare the two and post the results.

well essentially yes wifi vs 3g, but a microcell would have top of the line 3g speed (to my understanding)

A microcell uses your existing internet connection so that your phone gets a boost. It doesn't provide 3g.

k, so it's pulling bandwidth from your existing internet company/ home phone line? And say you're in the middle of nowhere with edge or the little circle of death...does the microcell bump your data up to 3G speed or just improve your reception?
