I literally let out a loud gasp when I saw that! I'm so sorry! I think I would get pissed at first and then start crying.

I hate that man. Funny little thing the Verizon rep told me a few days ago. I was looking at the screen protectors and had a set of them in my hand when he comes over and says, and I quote:
"Yeah, those will be very good to have, especially if you drop your phone. See, when the glass breaks, the screen protector will actually 'hold' the glass in there and it will not fall out."
Best...Salesman...EVER! Like thats supposed to make someone feel better. Seeing your cracked screen with a screen protector made me think of that. Sorry that it happened. But hey, be glad that you had a screen protector that saved the day by keeping all that shattered glass wrapped up in on little pretty package. - 02-11-2011, 07:03 AM #8

That is exactly why I stuck a case on the minute I got it I saw too many horror stories like this and was not going to take any risks.

That sucks. I hope you get a new one very quickly. Advice, don't let your uncle handle your phone!

Your insurance sucks. Should have gotten sqauretrade. $80 initial fee to buy the coverage. $50 deductible when you have problems with your phone. Plus they refund you a prorated amount if you get rid of the phone before your 2 years of coverage is up.

Question, If the glass breaks on your phone, can you go to the Apple store and just have them replace the glass? Obviously it may cost something if you do..... But was just wondering if its possible.
