Need an app that will open a rich text document

I am looking for an app that will open a rich text document that can be edited. For my iphone and ipad.

How about Google Docs? It's free & can be accessed from any browser on most any device (or saved to computer if need be).

Goodreader. Reads almost everything including PDFs with link support. Works with DropBox too.

which is better for editing word/excel docusments. Is documents to go the best for this. Can you save the files to your iphone or do you need to have it synced to your pc. I want to be able to save files to my phone then email out when done. Dont want to have to sync to my pc each time.
