Sim Card Removal Question

I am trying to remove the sim card from my IP4 I have the ejector tool that came with my 3GS.

When I put the ejector into my 3GS the sim door pops open like its spring loaded.

With the IP4 it does not open, do I need a different tool or do you press it more forcefully ? I dont want to screw it up so Ill wait for a reply.

I've used safety pins and paper clips to eject the sim card. Just press firmly.

The metal sim tray on the iPhone 4 take a little more force to remove.

I normally use a thumbtack to get mine out. Works perfect.
