My daughter's doesn't rattle. I would find that rather disturbing if it did. I think I would take to a Genius Bar and ask them what gives.

I'm not even going to try to shake it, it might rattle something loose. LOL!
I ran into people at the android forums who mentioned that a rattle could be from the accelerometer. No of them had a problem with their phone working properly, but it was annoying knowing there was a rattle with their phone.
A Genius might replace it for you and since you are within your 30-days of receiving the equipment, this is your best chance of getting it replaced. After 30 days, they may not be so likely to do it for you. Just my opinion... - 02-08-2011, 02:29 PM #7

After reading the thread on MacRumors, I've come to the conclusion that a large number of them are morons. Why would we say it doesn't rattle if it does? That's dumb. And someone even said "Do babies rattle? Maybe we should shake them too." Wow, since when do babies rattle? I don't think babies have any loose parts.

I'm not really going to worry about it, most electronics have some type of rattle if you shake them. My phone has a rattle(thanks for bringing it my attention though...) but after I held down my power button, it didn't. I'm going to chalk it up to my power button being pressed after so many times.

I have it too. Thanks for pointing it out.

Curious-those that rattle, did your iPhone ship with 4.2.5 and you had to update to 4.2.6, or did it ship with 4.2.6?
Mine came with 4.2.5 - 02-08-2011, 09:25 PM #25Click Here To Follow Me On Twitter!
