still can't activate my iphone......can't believe it happens to me!!

Got my phone around 1:30pm, tried to activate for 2 hours, still couldn't get it work, finally noticed there's someone else's cellphone number link to my iphone, took a look at my receipt and saw another set of ESN/MEID number.....which is not the same as the set shows on the iphone box!! that's right, I have someone's iphone!!
now I'm still waiting on verizon tech to call me back, it's been a couple hours.....

I live in ohio, the person lives in CA
hopefully that person is not one of the people that sells iphones on ebay, that could take DAYS to get it fixed

Thats a shame how can you get them so far apart mixed up. That would really tick me off if it happened to me.

I wish I knew where in this forum it was but someone else here had this problem and was able to solve it with Verizon.
