Why would they do this?
So close but yet so far. My expected delivery for my iphone was today at 3pm. Got home today..no iPhone. Checked my tracking number and my phone was on a truck. Called up fed-ex to see whats up and they were very nice. They said due to the high demand they were not able to get all their orders out. I then asked if i could drive to the warehouse to get it since the truck had already come back. She asked for my info and such and then said "im sorry but verizon wont let us do that, we have to try and deliver it at least once". Why on earth would verizon do that? My estimated date now has changed to the 8th. Im bummed! Has this happened to anyone else? too many iphones for fed-ex/ups to handle in your area?

I went to my local Fedex on Friday and added a hold. The lady typed something into her computer and printed something off. She said I could pick it up Monday around 9am or anytime I saw the info change to my town. It was changed at 8:20am. They open at 8:30 am. I was there at 8:32am. She asked for I'd and handed me my phone. There was no delivery attempt at all. I'm not sure what's going on with those of you that have problems. I'm very pleased to have had things work out for me but I wish they had for you all as well.
