Almost 6 hours of usage with 41% left? Yes that is good unless that was all iPod usage

About the same as mine (just got it a week ago).

To be honest, this blows the doors off my 3G, and any Android phone I owned on Verizon. I've been nothing but impressed with the battery life on this phone.

anaphora68, i went from the 3G to the iP4 as well and i agree.. it's like trading in a 1979 VW bug for a Ferrari
...

i typically remove my phone from the charger around 6:30 am and i'm good until about 10:30pm with moderate to heavy usage

i have no complaints about the battery at all

I ran a little test yesterday. Fairly moderate use at work (Texting quite a bit using Google Voice, email, browsing), and two hours listening to music at the gym. I went off charger at 6:30am, and when I went to bed at 11:30 was at 60%. Woke up at about 57% this morning.

24 hours off the charger with what I would consider more than average use, and a bit over 40% of the battery drained is fairly amazing to me.

I take back every nasty thing I ever said about iOS and the iPhone. I'm glad I switched.

I know it. Mine drops way to fast. Should I reinstall iOS since this was a new phone? I have only owned it since Monday. Is it still to new?

Could be an app you downloaded that is running in the background. Some apps will keep the phone awake. I tried Dataman out the other day and my usage and uptime were identical. The app had to keep running to monitor my data usage. I ended up uninstalling.

See what is running, and go into settings as well. An app might be constantly syncing up (New York times does this unless you tell it not to, etc).

Just my two cents.
