Who will sell it?

My questions are: Which store will sell the iPhone on day 1. Will it be Apple store, Verizon stores or both? Will there be pre-orders like the iPad? I know all of this is speculation but interesting to me. If not mistaken ATT didn't start selling iPhones until recently, no?

AT&T has sold the iPhone since day one... so I imagine the VZW iPhone will be handled the same way - both Apple and VZW will sell it when it becomes available....

and be sold at

- Apple Retail stores
- Verizon wireless stores

and it MAY be sold at

- Best Buy Mobile (both in Best Buy stores, and stand alone locations)

Probably a 50/50 chance of Best Buy being able to sell it at launch time.

I doubt Best Buy will get in on launch day too.

I think Best Buy might sell it day 1. They'll have customers from both networks going to their store to buy so it's good for them.

Exactly. After all Best buy does sell the iPhone, as well as other Apple products. The more the marrier

Stated the other day by Verizon was Apple and Verizon would sell it at launch and other outlets shortly after

I remember reading somewhere that it will be available at Verizon Wireless and Apple. Both in the stores and online. Then in the weeks to follow it will be available through other outlets.
