yes it would be, i don't know how many times i get to doing something, set my iphone somewhere and hope that someone would just text or call so i can find it. now i can just send a tone. glad this is now free for us.

exactly, find my phone would of been the only feature on mobile me that i really thought would be handy.

It's actually not that strange. Apple (and others) do it for load balancing. Imagine if all hundred-million-plus iOS users tried to download at the exact same time. It would cause havoc for the servers.

Updated to 4.2.1 but I don't see the new Text Tones... Hmm... Anyone else missing them?

Upgraded a 3GS to 4.2.1. I?m connected to my work network, with probably 10 different variations of HP networked printers, All in one, laser, color laser, inkjet including the latest HP Officejet Pro 8500A and non of them appear when I try to use airprint.

Also only have the 7 regular Text Tones. The supposed new ones are not an option.

If anyone can post a screenshot of their settings, it'd be helpful for some. I am sure the carrier profile for AT&T is 9.0 and the modem should be 3.10.01. However does it display as 4.2.1 build 8C148?

OK. Can't post screenshow right now. The build on the 3GS I just upgraded says 4.2.1 8C148a. ATT 9.0 is correct, however my modem says 05.15.04.
