Hello!

1) I have a friend who had an itunes account with a former employers email address. The email is no longer valid. She had purchased a lot of music. Is there anyway she can get it back?

2) I have a 2Gen 3.1.3 - can I upgrade my software yet and keep my jailbreak?

1. If it is your friend's iTunes account, all she has to do is log in and change her account information to update to her current email address.

2. Yes, there are bunches of threads giving detailed instructions on doing this. A little searching should yield what you want.
