I have a Plantronics Bluetooth. It works fine on outgoing calls. However, when calls are received, the Bluetooth gives and audible recognition of the incoming call but when the call is answered, the my 3G iphone reverts the call to the iPhone rather than the Bluetooth and I have to wait until the window of phone function buttons opens (about 3-4 seconds) and select the Bluetooth from the sound souce list before I can hear and talk through the Bluetooth. By this time, the caller has repeated "Hello", "Hello", "Can you Hear me?" several times before, I can respond. This makes the Bluetooth and iPhone unsafe to operate while traveling by car/driving. Why does this happen? Is there anything that can be doen to prevent this? I do not have this problem while using my NUVI GPS Bluetooth!:(

Are you answering by tapping on the phone screen or your headset? If you tap the phone, you'll be using the phone.
