iPhone 4 video help, please

When taking video with my iPhone 4 it seems like I am backing up a lot to get the person or thing into range. Is there a way to zoom out farther without physically backing up? Thanks in advance for any help.

no because in video mode the lenses focal point is as all the way back no way to adjust except physically move

sorry, no video zoom. try looking for an app in the app store that might accomplish this. I haven't heard of one, though.

Yes I think you are right. There is no video zoom.
