    Default Assistance Please.

Not sure if this is the right place for this. Forgive me if it isn't.

This seems to have just started this morning and I'm not sure why. When I go into iTunes then to Ringtones and try to preview them this is what I get..

Any idea what it means or how I can fix it? My phone is still the exact same it was when I bought it.

Have you tried a restart or re-syncing with iTunes? If so, hopefully someone with experience will stop by and help!

Try restoring the phone as new first. That usually gets rid of software bugs like this.

    Don't restore.

I think this is due to them already updating the ringtone server for 4.1. This is happening to me and my fiancee too iPhone 4 OS 4.0.2

Haven't had any problems, and I'm also on 4.0.2...maybe just wait and see when you update to 4.1.

So some are experiencing this and some aren't? Strange.

It seems to be working fine for me with 4.0.2.

I'd say backing up your iPhone via iTunes and then restoring it would be your best bet. It's a pain, but it tends to resolve these little things.

Just go without downloading those ridiculously expensive ringtones for a week until 4.1 come out. Save yourself the hassle.
