I recently moved to Germany with my AT&T locked iPhone. I proceeded to jailbreak/unlock it here for use with the BLAU network. While other people can get the 3G network on their iphone while in the same place as I, I am stuck with the E signal. I know the phone is capable of the 3G signal because I can put in a T-mobile sim card from Germany (which has a better signal) and capture the 3G.
Another problem is that often times the phone will revert to having no signal (again, when another BLAU iPhone user is next to me with good signal) and I must turn the phone off and on again so that it can acquire the signal again.
Any guesses on what might be the problem?
