hey iphone owners that live in maine!

Are there any iPhone owners that live in maine and do not have 3g service and are on edge? If so how are your data speeds? Acceptable compared to other carriers? I retuirned my iPhone cause of bad speeds and my email took forever to get.....let me know your findings please....thanks

I live here in Maine. Mostly just browsed the forums. I'm in Southern Maine. I travel back and forth between Bowdoinham and South Portland. The signal is pretty good. If I head west it gets bad. I was recently in Sabattus and I had no signal at all. I think its fine in the Augusta area, but I don't go up there much. The coast seems fine to me.
Basically the signal strength doesn't have much of an effect on my day-to-day life. I only use a cell phone.
