Contacts Dublicating

My address book on my mac has single entries for my contacts but for some reason my iphone has duplicate entries for nearly all of my contacts. I have mobileme...would this have anything to do with it? Obviously I just want one entry for each contact. How would I correct this? And how would I prevent this from happening again?

Nevermind...its showing both my Exchange contacts and my mobileme contacts. My mobileme contacts are the most accurate. Is there a way that i can delete the Exchange group from my Contacts app?

Go to settings>>mail/contacts/calendars>>select your exchange account and turn contacts off.

If you have doubles on your phone still turn your
O lie contacts off and then back on. It will ask if you want to merge the data and you'll select "merge"

I very often find duplicate contacts. I have long wondered how to solve this problem, and Scrubly Duplicate Remover came to my aid. This really works well for me. This tool is really useful and indeed an effective one.
