I've seen some posts on other sites that iPhone 4's manufactured at or after week 27 (based on serial number) are shipping with a "fixed" antenna. Are people with these newer phones imagining things? Anyone have a similar story? I thought all iPhones have the antenna thing?

Got this from ZDnet who got it from iFixit:

aabccdddeef
aa = Factory and Machine ID
b = Year
cc = Production Week
ddd = Unique Identifier
ee = Color (A4=black)
f = size (S=16GB, T=32GB

This would be week 25: 85025xxxA4T

Engadget is speculating that iphones manufactured after week 26 or 27 that Apple may be applying a coating to the antenna that fixes the issue, but this is pure specualation.

Interesting. Having not heard anything official (or quasi-official) I'm dismissing this as "pure speculation." Here's hoping, though

Both of mine are week 27. I guess my frustration on pre-order day was worth it. My units are smooth between antennae segments and no detectable reception issues.

I got "27" after an exchange, but the OP says
after that... is it including week 27 as well?
