    Default HD video footage / iPhone 4

    Has anyone managed to work out how many minutes of 720p footage you can store on a 16GB iPhone 4?

    With regard to photos - at roughly 2MB per photo you can store ~7500 pics on the phone. I was just wondering what the breakdown with video was?

    Cheers,
    Steve

    Well I made a 8 minute video using iMovie on iP4 of some fireworks from 4th of July and exported it in 720P and the file stands at 473MB I don't know if that helps but just thought I would share...

    473mb / 8 minutes = 59 mb per minute

    1gb = 1024mb ---- 16 * 1024mb = 16,384mb

    16,384mb / 59mb (per minute) = 277.6 minutes

    277 minutes / 60 minutes = 4.6 hours
