Maybe I'm lucky, but the back of my iPhone 4 has not looked bad even after extensive handling. I saw the pre release videos of the new iPhone, and the black model showed fingerprints as badly as the 3GS, so I was prepared to have to wipe it off a lot. I carry my new iphone without a case, and I've been pleasantly surprised to see that the back of the phone stays looking quite nice. I wonder if the oleophobic coating is on the back glass as well?
