Did anyone try this FaceTime roulette website?
I'm new to the forum as a member, but have been "viewing it from afar" for a while now.. LOL.
Anyway, I been looking for people to do FaceTime chats with. I saw some people PMing eachother and stuff, but didn't wanna go through all that trouble.
After searching for a while, came across a website on google called ftfun.com. Has anyone tried it? Even though I found it on google, I'm not sure if its good. I guess it will do a chatroulette kinda thing but you need to log in to access it.
Anyone have any experience with this site? I'm personally kinda skeptical about it but really wanna FaceTime with people..

There's another thread from some website that's trying to pair up people who want to try it. But that seems to be the general consensus - no one wants to give out their phone numbers to total strangers.
Just get active in the forums and you'll have plenty of people you can FT with in no time.

That sounds good.. but can you do the true facetime feature that way? i saw something about gvoice on another thread too, but the person that was mentioning never responded to the question of if it works or not..
i'm going to wait till the site posts their faq cuz its blank now.

I am sure over the next year or so this will change, but for the time being I find it pretty sad that this great new feature is being used to speak with strangers on random websites... My hope is that eventually it will open up to having video chat with people (friends and family) on their computers.

Back to the GV question, has anyone tried to call someone's GV number, which would ring their iPhone 4, and activate FT?
Other question, does Fring need to be running for someone to try and call you? Or does it "push" like a normal phone call?
