Iphone 4 headset microphone

Have any of you noticed how sensitive the mic is on the headset it picks up the lowest softest noises possiable and amplifies them beyond anything! To the point if Im in a store the other person on the other end of the phone is having problems becasue everything is sooooooo loud?

ive used mine several times while driving and no one has said anything and i never turn the radio off when driving haha.
