Can you send the same message to more than one person ?

Yesterday was the first time I needed to use this feature but was unsure how to do so. I simply copied and pasted the message and went into each contact that way, very time consuming. I've looked about on the net but no defined answer that helped me. thanks

Compose a new text message. The "To" will be blank. Tap the + sign. Add people to that list the same way. I believe there is a limit, but I'm not sure what the limit is.
