Default That annoying "whoosh" sound when sending SMS/MMS

I am new to the iPhone gig - the iPhone4 is my first... and I am starting to figure a lot of this out, and doing quite nicely, post-BlackBerry... but one thing really annoys me is that freaking "whoosh" sound that I get every time I send an SMS or MMS... how can I turn that off? I found a setting to turn off the annoying sound when sending an email... and I believe that there has to be a way... I just haven't found it yet...

    Anyone?

Other then JBing not sure. I like it because I can exit out of the SMS App and still know if the message went through, especially when the signal isn't the best.

I'm coming from a BlackBerry as well. I love the sounds. I like how when actively in a sms conversation, it makes those light sounds rather than the loud sms tone.

Count me in as liking them, because as someone else said, I can move on to other thing while it is sending and when I hear the sound I know it is gone. Same for Email! Though you can turn this off from Sending or Getting email, you can't for sending SMS or MMS.

I think you can turn it off in Settings, Sound, Send Mail sound off.

Heh. I already got used to the sounds because of frequent iChat use. The one thing I miss though was being able to use a certain SMS tone from a Sony Ericsson K800i I DLed to my BlackBerry.

okay, okay, I get it. You all like it... and I can't stop it... so all that is left for me to do is start marching in step with the Apple army.

    Thanks...
